Michael's talk, titled "Save Your Game, Save the World", examined ways in which computer and video games are making the world a better place.

It was a huge honor for Michael to be selected to speak at a TEDx conference and there were many amazing speakers and attendees at the event.

Coin 'n Carry is launched! Frogdice's first mass market, social web game is released to the public. While there are still a number of core features we are planning to add in the coming months, the base game was made available to the public on this date.

Frogdice hosted a launch party in Lexington, KY that was attended by local business people, Commerce Lexington, college students from all over Kentucky, and other local game developers.

The release of Coin 'n Carry and the launch party were covered by the Lexington Herald-Leader: Its new online mini-games could be big for Lexington company.

Frogdice is chosen from a group of 15 tech companies in the region to pitch before the Bluegrass Angels.

Frogdice is awarded a significant investment from the State of Kentucky's high tech investment pool.

At the meeting Michael A. Hartman spoke about Frogdice's expansion plans as well as the gaming market in general.

Frogdice was chosen as one of the 5 companies to participate in 5 Across - a pitch contest for companies seeking investment. Some refer to it as "Lexington's Own Shark Tank."

Being selected for this event is a great honor and we are excited for the opportunity to share information about our company with the local investment community.

The winner of the competition receives a small cash prize and, more importantly, some great publicity for their company. We will do our best to represent the gaming industry and try to come out of this competition victorious.

Primordiax Ends Phase 3 Testing - Primordiax ends its last test phase and begins to prepare for Open Beta, scheduled in November of 2009.

Partnership with the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program

Frogdice has joined in an ongoing partnership with the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program to raise awareness about domestic violence. During the month of May 2009, a portion of all purchases will be donated to the BDVP.

We are also planning to collect toys, clothing, and other supplies at our annual convention (ThreshCon) this summer. These items will be donated to the BDVP. Literature on domestic violence will be made available at the convention as well.

This issue resonates with us at Frogdice because of our almost 50% female customer base and the fact that many of our customers have used our community to escape domestic abuse situations.

We are very excited about this partnership and look forward to working with this charity more in the future.

Michael Hartman and Wanwisa Hartman were invited to host a roundtable at the Independent MMO Game Developer's Conference (IMGDC). The topic of the roundtable was "Text Games: We're not dead yet!" The roundtable was one of the most heavily attended at the conference, and it received rave reviews. Michael and Wanwisa Hartman have been invited back next year to host another roundtable.
